OATs commercial websites include many built-in features designed to make it easy for your customers to shop, learn about your company, and purchase your products. The programming creates three kinds of pages:
- Permanent pages
- Optional pages
- Conditional pages

| Permanent pages are always available on your site.
|
They can be accessed by clicking on the link to the page. Links may display in various places, including left or right menus, top and bottom bars, or in the body of the page. Some links like those across the top and bottom of the page will generally display on every page. For more on these page elements:

Permanent OATs website pages include: *
- Home page - this introductory page is the first that many customers will see.
- Product directory page - this page shows all of the product types, divided by categories and subcategories.
- Product display page(s) - each product for sale will have its own page where you describe the item with text and pictures.
- Login page - this page allows your customers to sign in to their account so that return shopping is easier.
- Cart contents page
- Checkout / Purchasing page

*The Home page includes areas where you can update text content. Product display page contents vary with each item, and you add pictures and text for each. The Product directory page, Cart contents page, and Checkout page all have fixed content.

| Optional pages are available for you to select as OATs builds your website.
|
These pages can be added to your site as we build it. Once added, they become part of your permanent page group. (Optional pages may be added to your site later at additional cost.)

- Terms of Use - any limitations you impose on use of the contents of your pages (copying pictures, etc.) is specified here.
- Privacy Policy -specify how you handle your customers' personal information here.
- Warranty Policy -specify how you handle product warranties, guarnateesd, and returns.
- Payment Policy -define payment terms, waiting periods before shipment, etc.
- Shipping Policy -specify shipping methods, delivery times, shipping surcharges, packaging and handling fees, etc..
- Product details -additional information pages about your product lines, instructional uses, cautions, etc..

*Most Optional pages have editable content. You can add, edit, or delete text on these pages as needed. New Products, Product Specials, and Product Reviews have fixed formats with content determined by your product inventory and customer inputs.

| Conditional pages are displayed when your customers select certain options.
|
These pages are permanent parts of your website that wait to be called by customer actions. These pages don't have direct links, rather they have embedded links that are activated when needed.

There are many Conditional OATs website pages including New Account and Edit Account pages for customer accounts, Product Review forms where customers comment on your products, checkout processing and confirmation pages, forgotten password page, and more.

Some conditional pages have editable content. Most have fixed content as in data entry forms, etc .
